Beef Stew

Ready in 20 minutes Serves 12
Combine all ingredients, including the liquid from the canned vegetables, in a large pot. Sprinkle enough oregano on top to coarsely cover the stew and stir. Cover the pot with a tight fitting lid or foil and cook at 200° for eight hours. Contributor's note: Something you don't like? Leave it out. Something essential missing? Throw it in! Serve with crusty French bread. Freeze uneaten portions in small containers. |
